As a farm kid from the Great Plains,
I learned to run wild with the wind & live in the trees.
Now in Dallas, my husband and I grow as many plants as our house can hold. My formal training is in graphic design and illustration (BFA Concordia University). I also write. Before jumping full on into a career of design, illustration, and visual art, I held various jobs, including: milking cows on a dairy farm, supervising at a homeless shelter, and working in relief & development with Samaritan’s Purse Cambodia. As a visual artist, exploring what it means to be human and how our bodies, and very existence, depend on and interact with the world around us fascinates me. Along the same lines, type design and how typographic form embodies the content it expresses has captivated me and continues to mark my graphic design work. I process life best while in motion. I hope you enjoy the spirit of my work and find refuge in it as I have.
